The hopeless generation brings hope
The September 11 attacks happened when they were toddlers or even before they were born. They hardly remember a time when “climate crisis” wasn’t an expression used daily in the media. They were born into a tumultuous world of chaos, and respond to it by debating, organizing, and becoming activists – but also by building walls and turning away from the outside world. No wonder Generation Z feel hopeless. This is an ambiguous generation that can be difficult to understand, but they also do their best in trying to change and improve both the world and themselves.
